Who is the Collegiate Recovery Program For?
CRP is intended for Georgia Tech students who:
- Are in recovery from substance use with 90 days of sustained abstinence
- Are actively engaged in recovery support outside of CRP, such as counseling, recovery coaching, 12 Step meetings (or other mutual aid group), or another recovery-oriented support system
- Are seeking structured peer support within a recovery-focused program
Students who are interested in recovery support regardless of where they are in their journey are encouraged to reach out. Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Services are available to help students explore recovery resources and next steps.
What do we offer?
CRP provides opportunities for students in recovery to connect with peers, strengthen their recovery, and build community while pursuing their academic goals.
Current opportunities for involvement include:
- Weekly recovery support group and community breakfast
- Connection with other students in recovery
- Recovery-focused community engagement and activities
- Connection to community recovery resources
- Opportunities to help shape the future of the recovery community at Georgia Tech
Getting Connected
Students interested in learning more about CRP are encouraged to reach out for a conversation about the program, participation expectations, and available supports.
Students who may not currently meet CRP participation expectations are still encouraged to connect. Additional recovery support and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Services are available to support students at any stage of the recovery process.
