Graduate Student Thesis Support Group

Monday: 2 – 3:30 p.m.

This group provides a supportive environment for doctoral students to address the academic, professional, and personal challenges involved in completing a doctoral thesis. Common topics include maintaining work/life balance, staying motivated in the face of obstacles, setting achievable goals, and working effectively with one’s advisor.

Graduate Men's Group

Friday: 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Contact: Andy Smith and Bob Day

This group provides Georgia Tech men (graduate students) the opportunity to discuss a range of topics in their lives. Common topics include dealing with the pressures and expectations related to being a man in our society, academic and career concerns, managing anger and other emotions, and communicating effectively in relationships.

Graduate Women's Group

Tuesday: 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Contact: Irene Dalton

A group that allows Georgia Tech graduate student women to connect with others around personal, academic, and relationship issues.
